The Market House in Hawes is a community-run indoor market and events venue in the centre of town, and it sits at the heart of England's highest market town - 850 feet above sea level in Wensleydale. It hosts a regular Tuesday market and a Saturday indoor market, as well as craft fairs, table-top sales, auctions and one-off events through the year. The Saturday markets in particular get packed to the rafters, with stalls selling local produce, crafts, books, antiques and homewares.
As well as the markets, the venue has function rooms available for hire for sales, events and meetings, and it is a focal point for the town alongside the Dales Countryside Museum and the Wensleydale Creamery. It is on the main street in Hawes, a short walk from the White Hart Inn and The Chippie.
