Aysgill Force is a waterfall on Aysgill Beck near Hawes, reached by a pleasant walk from the village. It is one of the regular waterfall walks around Hawes, alongside the better-known Hardraw Force, and makes a good half-day excursion from Garsdale. The path follows the beck upstream through woodland until the force appears, dropping through a wooded gorge. The walk works well in combination with a visit to Hawes itself, the Wensleydale Creamery or a longer day over the Buttertubs Pass into Swaledale. Sturdy footwear is sensible after rain, when the falls are at their most photogenic and the sections of path through the trees can be slippery.

On the Hawes Waterfalls Walk
Aysgill Force is one of the three waterfalls on the Hawes waterfalls walk - a seven mile circular from Hawes taking in Hardraw Force, Cotter Force and Aysgill Force along the River Ure and the Pennine Way. It is a narrower, quieter fall than Hardraw, reached via a path from Gayle, and the section through the gorge is the prettiest part of the route after rain.
