Caffe Curva is a family-run cafe on Market Place in Hawes, run by Kathryn and Shawn, serving homemade breakfast, brunch and lunch with coffee from Coffee Care. The menu is what you'd want from a Dales cafe - bacon butties, homemade soup, cheese scones and a selection of cakes - and it's popular with walkers coming off the Pennine Way or heading back from Hardraw. The decor is a bit more modern than your average Dales tearoom but it's still a cosy space, and it is dog friendly.
